There’s Bangkok and then there’s Thailand. Bangkok’s always a must for anyone interested in traveling to Southeast Asia. The modern hotels, the amazing food, the temples, and the marketplaces and street vendors where literally anything is possible. And then there’s the rest of the country. From the serenity and beauty of the mountains to the coastal islands, it’s so easy to become spoiled by a lifestyle so plentiful and so inexpensive by western standards. I understand why so many people runaway to Thailand.
